Elena is an award-winning audiobook narrator based in Los Angeles with over 50 titles recorded for major publishers like Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins, and Hachette. Since completing the Penguin Random House Narrator Mentorship Program in 2022, Elena has narrated across YA, literary fiction, middle grade, non-fiction, and poetry from their professional home studio.
Known for their grounded, expressive reads and vibrant character voices, Elena has a particular knack for Latin American, Southern US, and British accents. Their high level of proficiency in Spanish adds an extra layer of authenticity to bilingual and Spanish speaking characters. Elena’s identity as a queer, genderqueer, mixed-race (Mexican/White) artist deeply informs their storytelling, as does their background in acting and years as an educator. Every project is approached with care, connection, and intention, ensuring a performance that resonates with listeners and brings characters of all ages vividly to life.
